Working with Quotes and Estimates

Quotes help you win new business by providing professional estimates before starting work. When accepted, convert them to invoices with one click.

Creating a Quote

  1. Navigate to Quotes
  2. Click Create Quote
  3. Select your client or prospect
  4. Add line items with descriptions and pricing
  5. Set an expiry date for the quote

Quote Details

Include important information:

  • Quote Number - Unique reference number
  • Valid Until - Expiry date for the quote
  • Scope of Work - Detailed description of deliverables
  • Terms - Payment terms and conditions

Sending Quotes

Send quotes to clients via email:

  • Preview the quote before sending
  • Customize the email message
  • Track when the quote is viewed

Quote Status Tracking

  • Draft - Not yet sent
  • Sent - Delivered to client
  • Viewed - Client has opened the quote
  • Accepted - Client accepted the quote
  • Declined - Client declined the quote
  • Expired - Past the valid until date

Converting Quotes to Invoices

When a client accepts your quote:

  1. Open the accepted quote
  2. Click Convert to Invoice
  3. Review the invoice details
  4. Make any necessary adjustments
  5. Send the invoice
