Customizing Your Invoice Design
Professional invoices reflect your brand and build trust with clients. TallySpark gives you complete control over your invoice appearance.
Brand Identity Settings
Start with your brand fundamentals in Settings → Brand Identity (see Creating Brand Identities):
- Logo - Upload a high-quality logo (PNG or SVG recommended)
- Primary Color - Your main brand color
- Accent Color - Secondary color for highlights
Invoice Layout Options
Customize the invoice structure:
- Header Style - Logo placement and company info layout
- Column Display - Show/hide quantity, rate, and other columns
- Footer Content - Payment instructions and legal notices
Custom Fields
Add fields specific to your business:
- Project reference numbers
- Purchase order numbers
- Contract references
- Custom identifiers
Default Content
Set default text that appears on all invoices:
- Notes - Thank you messages or special instructions
- Terms - Payment terms and conditions
- Footer - Bank details or legal disclaimers
Preview and Testing
Always preview your changes:
- Make your customizations
- Create a test invoice
- Preview in PDF format
- Send a test email to yourself
