Creating Multiple Brand Identities

Brand Identities let you maintain different visual styles for different clients, divisions, or projects. Create unlimited brands with unique logos, colors, and fonts.

Why Use Multiple Brand Identities

  • Client-Specific Branding - Match client's visual style on invoices
  • Business Divisions - Separate brands for different services
  • White Label Services - Invoice under different company names
  • Professional Flexibility - Switch brands per project

Creating a New Brand Identity

  1. Navigate to Settings - Brand Identity
  2. Click the Add Brand button
  3. You'll see a form with collapsible sections
  4. Fill in each section as needed
  5. Save your brand identity

Brand Name Section

Set your brand's basic information:

  • Brand Name - Internal reference for your organization
  • This name appears in your brand selector dropdown
  • Clients don't see this—it's for your organization only

Logo Upload Section

Add your brand's logo:

  1. Expand the Logo accordion section
  2. Drag your logo file to the drop zone or click Browse
  3. Supported formats: PNG, JPG, SVG
  4. Recommended size: 400x200 pixels
  5. Logo appears on all documents using this brand

Color Customization

Define your brand's color palette with three key colors:

  • Primary Color - Used for headers and important elements
  • Secondary Color - Used for text labels and borders
  • Accent Color - Used for highlights and total amounts

Default Settings

Choose which brand to use by default:

  • Toggle "This will be the brand used on new documents"
  • Only one brand can be default at a time
  • New invoices and quotes auto-select default brand
  • You can still manually select different brands per document

Managing Existing Brands

Your brand list displays each brand with:

  • Brand Name - The reference name you chose
  • Font Family - Selected typography
  • Color Circles - Visual preview of 3 colors
  • Default Badge - Green badge if set as default

Available Actions

For each brand identity, you can:

  • Edit - Modify logo, colors, fonts
  • Set as Default - Make this the default brand
  • Delete - Remove brand (only if not in use)

Using Brands on Documents

Apply brands to invoices and quotes:

  1. Create or edit an invoice/quote
  2. Look for the Brand selector
  3. Choose from your saved brand identities
  4. Document styling updates instantly
  5. Preview to see final appearance
