Managing Multiple Contacts per Client

Many businesses have multiple stakeholders. TallySpark lets you manage different contacts for billing, projects, and general communication.

Contact Types

  • Billing Contact - Receives invoices and payment reminders
  • Primary Contact - Main point of contact
  • Project Contact - Project-specific communications
  • Additional Contacts - Other stakeholders

Adding a Contact

  1. Open the client profile
  2. Click Add Contact
  3. Enter contact details:
    • Name
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    • Job title
    • Contact type
  4. Save the contact

Setting the Billing Contact

The billing contact is important because:

  • They receive invoice emails
  • They get payment reminders
  • They're the default recipient for financial communications

Managing Contact Preferences

For each contact, you can configure:

  • Email communication preferences
  • Notification settings
  • Access permissions (if using client portal)

Contact History

Each contact shows their interaction history:

  • Emails sent to them
  • Invoices they've received
  • Quotes sent for review

Transferring Contacts

If a contact moves to a different company:

  1. You can move them to another client
  2. Or create them as a new contact under the new client
