Connecting Your Stripe Account
- Go to Settings → Payment Settings
- Click Connect Stripe
- Log in to your Stripe account (or create one)
- Authorize TallySpark to access your account
- You'll be redirected back to TallySpark
Stripe Account Requirements
To receive payments, your Stripe account needs:
- Complete business verification
- Connected bank account for payouts
- Identity verification (if required)
Payment Settings
After connecting, configure your preferences:
- Payment Methods - Enable cards, bank transfers, etc.
- Currency - Set your primary currency
- Receipt Emails - Automatic payment receipts
How Client Payment Works
- Client receives invoice email
- They click Pay Now
- Enter payment details securely
- Payment is processed instantly
- Both parties receive confirmation
Testing Payments
Before going live, test the payment flow:
- Create a test invoice to yourself
- Click the payment link
- Use Stripe test card: 4242 4242 4242 4242
- Verify the payment is recorded
Troubleshooting
- Connection Failed - Ensure pop-ups are enabled
- Payments Not Working - Verify Stripe account is fully activated
- Wrong Currency - Check your Stripe currency settings
