When you accept online payments through Stripe, there are processing fees to understand. Here's what you need to know.
Stripe Processing Fees
Standard Stripe fees (may vary by country):
- Credit/Debit Cards - 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
- ACH Bank Transfers - 0.8% capped at $5
- International Cards - Additional 1.5% for cross-border
- Currency Conversion - 1% for multi-currency
How Fees Are Calculated
Example for a $100 invoice paid by credit card:
- Transaction: $100.00
- Stripe Fee: $3.20 (2.9% + $0.30)
- You Receive: $96.80
When You Receive Funds
Stripe payout schedule:
- Standard - 2 business days after payment
- New Accounts - 7-14 days initially
- Payout Schedule - Daily or weekly (configurable)
